Bicycles for Humanity is about bikes and empowering people through mobility. Other aid groups, recognizing the value of bicycles, often send bikes in mixed load containers. One group that has shipped an amazing amount of stuff overseas is the Compassionate Resource Warehouse. A remarkable organization. Here is a photo of a BRC bike that was donated in Victoria and shipped to Zambia by the Compassionate Resource Warehouse.
