Victoria to Malawi with Love

In
June 2014, the day our B4H Victoria volunteers  were packing bikes into a container bound for Malawi, a young lady  brought a bike for donation on behalf of her cousin, who had passed away. She wanted to honour her cousin, who loved biking, by sending her bike to Malawi. This week, that bike was donated to Grace. Grace is is a health care worker from Machinga District in Malawi. Grace is responsible for delivering health services to 407 households, over 2000 people. Before receiving this bike, Grace was tasked with visiting these areas by foot, along with taking care of her own needs and family. This bike will now allow Grace to visit the many homes more frequently and help deliver vital care to people living in extremely poor and isolated communities. The simple gift of a bike will impact the lives of thousands of people. We want to thank all those who have contributed and helped people like Grace through our project.  We hope you will join B4H this spring as we gear up to send another 500 bikes to the people of Malawi. Your support will help change lives!
